Exclusion of liability

1. Contents of the range offered online

The author does not provide any guarantee for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the author relating to damage to property or losses of an intangible kind which were caused by the use or the non-use of the information provided and/or by the use of the faulty and incomplete information, are fundamentally excluded to the extent that there is no evidence of intentional or grossly negligent culpability on the author's part.

All offers are without engagement and not binding. The author expressly reserves the right to change, supplement, delete parts of the pages or all of the offer or to suspend or definitively terminate the publication without separate announcement.

2. References and links

In the case of direct or indirect references to third-party Internet pages ("links") which are outside of the author's area of responsibility, a liability obligation would come into effect exclusively in the case in which the author has knowledge of the contents and it would be technically possible and acceptable for him to prevent use in the event of there being any illegal contents.

The author hereby expressly declares that at the point in time of the creation of the link no illegal contents were identifiable on the pages to be linked. The author has no influence at all on the current and future design, contents or origination of the linked pages. Therefore he hereby expressly disassociates himself from all contents of all linked pages which were changed after the creation of the link. This statement applies to all links created and references made within the author's own Internet offer as well as to third-party entries in guest books, discussion forums and mailing lists set up by the author. For illegal, faulty or incomplete contents and in particular for damage or losses arising from use or non-use of information presented in such a way, the provider of the page to which reference was made shall alone be liable, and not anyone who via links merely refers to the particular publication.

3. Copyright and law on distinctive marks

The author endeavours in all publications to observe the copyrights of the graphics, audio recordings, video sequences and texts, to use graphics, audio documents, video sequences and texts produced by himself or to fall back on graphics, audio recordings, video sequences and texts which are licence-free.

All of the brands and trade marks named within the Internet offer and possibly protected by third parties are subject unrestrictedly to the provisions of the law on distinctive marks applicable in each particular case and to the rights of possession of the respective registered owners. On the basis of the simple naming alone the conclusion is not to be drawn that trade marks are not protected by third-party rights!

The copyright for published items produced by the author himself shall remain solely with the author of the pages. Duplication or use of such graphics, audio recordings, video sequences and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the author’s express consent.

4. Protection of data privacy

As far as it is possible within the Internet offer to input personal or business data (e-mail addresses, names, addresses), the exposure of this data is effected by the user on an expressly voluntary basis. The use of and payment for all of the services offered is – as far as is technically possible and reasonable – also permitted without provision of such data and/or with the provision of anonymisated data or of a pseudonym.

5. Legal effectiveness of this exclusion of liability

This exclusion of liability is to be considered part of the Internet offer from which reference was made to this page. If parts or individual formulations of this text should not, no longer or not completely correspond to the applicable legal situation, the remaining parts of the document shall remain unaffected by this as regards their contents and their validity.
